Spanish Inspired Cuisine with small plates that are meant to be shared. Order enough wine, and in true Spanish fashion you will be served a porrón to pour wine into your mouth. Favorite Dish: Paella

167 Raw

No reservations. Put your name down at 5pm and eat at 7pm. Their seafood is unbeatable, and everything on the menu is worth trying. Favorite Dish: Halibut Ceviche

Sorelle

A new restaurant that received a warm welcome to Charleston. True Italian cuisine with the prettiest ambiance. Reservations are hard to snag, but an evening here is worth the wait. Favorite Dish: Ragu

Maison

Sits on Northern King St; away from the noise. It’s quiet and cozy. A true French experience complete with several 2-top tables and extraordinary service. Favorite Dish: Steak Frites

Leon’s Oyster Bar

The perfect place for a casual vibe with excellent food. The oysters are top notch, but the Chicken sandwich may have their namesake beat. A local favorite for a reason. Favorite Dish: Chicken Sandwich

Wild Olive

Located in John’s Island, Wild Olive is an Italian restaurant that’s worth the drive. Perfect if you are looking for a place off the beaten path, or are staying on Kiawah Island. Favorite Dish: Bavette

Nico

Located on Shem Creek, Nico is a can’t miss French restaurant. It’s always busy, and the atmosphere is fun. The staff is incredibly kind, and the food is made using an open kitchen concept. Favorite Dish: Main Lobster

Le Farfalle

An Italian restaurant right off of King St with carefully crafted cocktails, and a modern vibe. Big enough to seat larger parties, but it’s also the perfect spot for two. Favorite Dish: Fusilli Lunghi

Pink Cactus

Super casual, and super delicious. Sit outside amongst the cacti sipping their signature pink cactus margarita. They offer specials on Thursday’s and their queso can’t be beat. Favorite Dish: Taco de Birria

Obstinate Daughter

Located on Sullivan’s Island, the obstinate daughter is the perfect place to grab wine and a pizza. It’s laid back and inviting. After a long day at the beach, get your pizza to go. Favorite Dish: Cheeky Monkey

Co-op

Three locations: Isle of Palms, Sullivan’s Island, and Kiawah this is a must stop when you’re in town. Their signature frosé is mouthwatering and their sandwiches are Insta worthy. Favorite Dish: California Turkey

Home Team

Not only is Home Team great for game day, it’s the best place to eat BBQ in Charleston. Their signature Game Changer drink will certainly change your day for the better. Favorite Dish: Pulled Pork Nachos
